Conducting the dissemination on "Integrating Gamification in Physics Learning at Kharisma Bangsa High School using Genially" during the Head of Department (HOD) meeting, I took several steps to ensure the presentation would effectively communicate the potential benefits of gamified learning.
Preparation of Materials and Content Development
I started by researching best practices in gamification and its effectiveness in education, specifically in Physics, to tailor the content to our high school context. Using Genially, a tool known for its interactive and gamified presentation features, I developed engaging content that would not only showcase the features of Genially but also align with Physics learning goals. This included creating interactive quizzes, problem-solving scenarios, and Physics simulations that would allow students to actively participate and reinforce their understanding of complex topics.

Gathering Data and Examples
To support the efficacy of gamification, I gathered case studies and examples from other schools where gamified learning had shown a positive impact on student engagement and achievement in science. I planned to share this data with HOD members to underline the tangible benefits of integrating such methods.

Coordinating with the HOD Meeting Agenda
To ensure my presentation fit seamlessly into the HOD meeting, I coordinated with the meeting organizer to schedule a time slot and discuss how my dissemination could align with the school’s broader educational goals. This also allowed me to understand the time constraints and expectations for the session, helping me to keep the dissemination concise and impactful.
Conducting the Dissemination
On the day of the meeting, I used Genially to present the gamification strategies interactively. I demonstrated sample Physics lessons, including how to set up challenges, point-based rewards, and interactive quizzes that engage students in a competitive and fun learning environment. Additionally, I highlighted how these tools could help foster critical thinking and increase student motivation.
Q&A and Feedback
Following the presentation, I opened the floor for questions, allowing HOD members to explore the potential challenges and advantages of implementing gamified learning. This was a valuable opportunity for me to gather feedback and suggestions, especially from those who had experience with similar tools or approaches.
Post-Dissemination Follow-Up
After the meeting, I shared a PDF summary and a link to the Genially resources with the attendees. This follow-up was designed to encourage HOD members to further explore gamification, consider applying it within their own departments, and support a collaborative effort toward interactive learning at Kharisma Bangsa High School.
